Harbor Shores – For those who feel at home amidst nature.
Southwest Michigan is home to some of the most picturesque scenery in the Midwest, and the area nature and fitness trails are designed for you to enjoy the outdoors year round. Whether you are walking, running, biking, viewing the beautiful Michigan fall colors or indulging in your favorite outdoor winter activity such as snowshoeing or cross country skiing, the miles of beautiful trails in the area will be your playground.
Located at the junction of Lake Michigan and the Paw Paw and St. Joseph Rivers, Harbor Shores offers some of the finest nature and fitness trails in the area. In exchange for leasing 22 acres of land from the City of Benton Harbor, Harbor Shores has added over 38 acres of new park land to historic Jean Klock Park and we have connected the entire development with more than 12 miles of trails. All trails within Harbor Shores are open to the public at no charge and the trail system offers a variety of surfaces from concrete and asphalt to natural sand and gravel.
